Subject: Old solo dresses

I've got two solo dresses that are quite old and outdated now, one a green velvet made in 1997 or so and the other a black raw silk in 2001 or so. They're so outdated I don't think anyone would wear them to compete in, but I was wondering if anyone knew of dressmakers or other artists who might be interested in reusing the fabric or the embroidery and applique designs? I can get you pictures on request.
Thanks!

I keep thinking about making pillows out of them. (NT)Every time I see a Pottery barn catalog.Monday, March 11, 08:24:45pm

Please send me some pictures. I love traditional dresses! (NT)LynnToledoTuesday, March 12, 08:50:31am

We know a local dressmaker that helps clients alter their older 3 panel solos. She does great magic in using part of the current skirt to lengthen the bodice, and then adds a new skirt. They turn out lovely (NT)--Tuesday, March 12, 09:22:01am

I would love to see the green velvet dress. E-mail inside if you would like toto send a pic or two. I love green and so does my daughter. (NT)HeatherThursday, March 14, 01:59:08pm
