Subject: The front bodice design, the main part of the dress, is clearly and completely copied. It would have been so easy to just change things around a little, so that the dressmaker had used the Elevation dress for inspiration, but it seems she was too lazy to do that and just totally copied the whole design. Shame! Hope she uses a little more creativity from now on as she can obviously turn out good dresses apart from her major problem of copying.

In reply to: -- 's message, "I think the styles are reasonably unique, but the knotwork is EXACTLY the same on the bodice, and that is not a coincidence. As someone who works very hard to design unique knotwork for each dress, I find that pretty appalling. It's one thing to use the same knots in similar ways (happens by chance fairly often), but blatant copying is not cool." on Tuesday, November 06, 10:50:00am
