I've worked for a major rental car company for the past 7 years and have had issues with balloons they've used to decorate the cubicles in the office setting; though the course of time I've more or less won and stopped them from using latex balloons and if they decorated they've used Mylar balloons to accomodate my needs. Now I've changed jobs again another one of the Major Car Renters here in the US and am starting all over with the office where I am at being decorated with Latex Balloons and am having issues with them now not accomodating my needs when I made this issue very clear with them during the pre-hire process and fear that I am either going to have a major legal battle on my hands or worse lose my only source of income.I don't know where to turn so that I don't ruin my chances of staying employed with all the crazy questions they're now requiring me to ask my Dr., I am so sensitized that I can't breath when exposed to balloons, even the office chairs at this company have rubber on them....and I was told flat out buy my own chair this is just crazy. I'm hoping to find a local or state agency that can assist me to show them the light that this is a very serious issue without the loss of my new position at this company. I mean I feel horrible that I have this health issue and have no control over it and don't think that I am asking too much when I've made the point of the allergy very clear to the people who were hiring me several weeks ago.
