In regards to Angela's posting, she is absolutely correct, especially, your workplace must reasonable accomodations. And don't even get me started on companies telling you this and that. The employer I worked for were warned well in advance of my latex allergy and the fact that it was worsening.
DO NOT LEAVE YOUR HOME WITHOUT YOUR INHALER, YOUR EPI PEN, AND IV BENADRYL (If it's taken it's wicked turn on you. It's a hard thing for a woman to learn to think of herself first, but we must, the outcome of our being tongue-tied, is one after another of us dropping like flys.
It took my career, but I refuse to let it take my life. Today, I am mostly homebound, as no one clearly states it uses latex gloves (restaurants, fast-food, stores, the florist shop, and it goes on and on).
