I had a dental consult on Friday and the waiting room was a black space age type play area for children that this dentist rents one day a week. Anyhow did my typical prep by calling ahead they are latex free, etc... When I showed up I made it to the counter to check in just as the room started to crazy, I made it to the hallway saying latex allergy.... I was having full anaphatic reaction, swelling, feeling faint and really not knowing what was happening. The assistant came out in the hallway to say, oh they use recycled tires as flooring and wall cover to protect the kids. Has anybody else experienced this or know of this type of flooring actually being used in medical facilities. I thought this was only for exterior use in playgrounds. Any links would be helpful.
