I am also a nurse with a severe latex allergy. As soon as I get into the hospital I put on latex free gloves. I change them between patients of course, but keep a pair on at all times. You never know when someone has touched anything with latex gloves. If someone takes gloves off by me I walk away. My co-workers are great about wearing latex free gloves when they work in the district with me. I also wipe everything down with alcohol including the phone because people pick up the phone with gloves on. Look out for yourself. Do you what you need to stay safe.
