Be aware. Last year there was a study done that indicated
one would have to consume a large amount of the Poinsettia to produce a Latex reaction.
Please note. Balloons have been banned in many hospitals because they produce an AIR BORNE allergen. Latex balloons were not banned because children were eating them.
The Pointsetia plant also produces an airborne allergen and is therefore as much of a hazzard. The floral industry
does not want to lose the sale of millions of plants.
Medical providers and hospitals need to be warned about the
true hazzard of Pointsettia plants in their buildings.
