Subject: One word of caution: before you invest a lot of money in the basement, make sure you don't have any water issues.

We had no problems in our basement until our gutters got clogged. The water ran off the roof in sheets, and we had 1/2 inch in the basement. Another time, the elbow on the leader (sp?) came off, and the water pours into the corner of the basement. We even had water when the AC condensation bucket broke (Murphy's Law!!!!)We've had to replace 3 rugs in what is typically a "dry" basement.
If you get through large rain storms with no problem, be diligent about your gutters and drainage.

  • we use the jubilee dance floor panels. we started with 4, too small, now have 9. perfect size. laid it on concrete basement floor, provides just enough cushion. noise factor not an issue; hard shoe taps heard but not deafening. (NT) -- very happy w/product, 05:47:36 11/14/04 Sun
