I have a daughter that has Juvenile rheumatoid arthritis in her right knee. She has been dancing for 3 years and has just started placing at feisanna. She can not do everything but manages and most people do not know unless I tell them. Her doctor is thrilled as it is very good for her knee. Her knee is bigger but she has enough range to dance. I think that most teachers would be sympathetic for shows but not for competitions.

  • Could you hire a teenaged dancer (with an interest in teaching) to give your child lessons on a regular basis? A talented teen could adapt the steps to suit the dancer. (NT) -- another parent (again), 10:09:01 03/27/02 Wed
