Subject: It really depends on the degree of disability, and the Irish dance school. Some schools are so competitive that even non disabled kids are pushed to their limits. Some teachers would be fine with a disabled child in the class, but not with him or her competing. So,

at the risk of sounding vague, a lot depends on the school, the teacher, the child, and what the expectations are.

On a purely personal level, if my child were moderately disabled, I would try to find a nice, supportive teacher at a school where the emphasis was fun, and the joy of dancing, with some performance opportunities. I would stay away from a competition oriented school.
