Subject: a dancer at my school...

there is a young (U10?) boy at my school in the Midwest w/Down's (his mom is in my adult class) ... I believe he participates in regular classes - based on his level, and he competes as well - usually only one dance at the local feis. he's not a perfect dancer, but I think the focus for him and his mom is to do his best - even if it's just completing both of his steps...

I've also seen a young man who has a physical disfigurement (apologies if that's not PC) in his upper body, but his feet and dancing are just AMAZING! He is now at Championship level.
