My dd is in the U18 age group & her new solo was done w/ an irredescent royal blue duponi silk that turns to purple. Colors used for the applique were silver lame, gold lame, kelly green holographic glitter, fushia holographic glitter, light blue glitterball, fushia/silver square holographic glitter. She wanted a Renassance w/ a modern look. The design was done w/ black threads around ALL the appliques which made it POP!!! Looks like a stained glass window & has loads of stage presence. -- IRISH DANCER MOMS AND DADS
