if the hair doesn't curl or you don't want to buy a wig then put the hair up in a bun and curl the bun part or use one of those cheap "curly" hair elastics! There are lots of champ dancers who wear buns. I danced against a girl who's hair was never curled properly and it looked awful, she should have gone with a bun!
