Author: I wish my DD had more supportive freinds, too.
Subject: I can relate. Our DD knows that her group is non-supportive of one another, no matter what. She barely mentions ID to them. None of them acknowledge an achievement, cute outfit, hairstyle, etc. Our DD is shy, too, but hubby and I await the day she finds a supportive group. I'm sure it will happen and they'll be better for this experience. Just have to get through this. She might go to their games to cheer them on, then maybe one or two girls might ask to go to a feis. Try it.
