Subject: NEW PARANORMAL FROM BROCKMANN?

Just saw this notice from Suzanne Brockmann:

"BORN TO DARKNESS is the first book in my new paranormal "Fighting Destiny" series. This first book features former Navy SEAL Shane Laughlin and Dr. Michelle "Mac" Mackenzie. BtoD will be available in hardcover from Ballantine Books on March 20, 2012."

Wow, I had no idea she was going in this direction. I'm amazed at how writers are able to change things up to challenge themselves.

I didn't even get Izzy's story and I was waiting and waiting for it. As I read about it and perused it in the bookstore, it just looked like the last 3 of her books, same kind of plot, etc. I know many here said it was good, but .... well.... it just felt like she was trying to make Izzy and Eden into Sam and Alyssa...and it just wasn't. Am I totally wrong?
