Subject: IRENE, IRENE, IRENE......and a new book

Just getting a few loads of laundry before the rain moves in ...I don't think it will be too bad for us, but we have our water and peanut butter and jelly, as well as flashlights at the ready.

Hope everyone stays safe and that this thing moves out to sea quickly!

And of course I have plenty to read this weekend: I just finished a re-read of a Lynn Kurland book "Dreams of Stardust" and I enjoyed it. Any book with Robin De Piaget in it is a must read for me! (He makes the book!)

Just started Mary Balogh's "The Secret Mistress".

What is everyone else reading this weekend?

SO glad I'm not up at the stadium for the Kenny Chesney concert right now... although if past events are anything to go by, more than half of the fans are so loaded they won't even notice the rain. Last year, I think they arrested nearly 400 people for drunk and disorderly. Nothing like inviting 60,000 people to a town of 17,000 for a visit... I'm reading "Stork Raving Mad" by Donna Andrews. Read her newest one and realized I'd missed one in the series! So now I'm playing "catchup".
