Subject: This book is titled Prey - the blurb at Amazon says: "a smart and sexy outdoor guide and her ruggedly handsome competitor must join forces to survive—and avoid becoming what they never expected to be: PREY." Ice came out in 2009 - and I agree, at 208 pages it qualifies as a novella. Some of her other latest books are Burn, Blood Born (one novella by Howard and one by Linda Jones), and Veil of Night.
In reply to: Robin 's message, "I have another question too: I see Linda Howard has a new one coming out "Prey" and I am a HUGH Howard fan, but did not get her last book either because I was so turned off by her previous one (maybe called "Ice" ? It was the one that took place in a weekend and they were stuck in a storm? The one I thought should have been an anthology - not a hardback book). Anyway, I am just wondering, was the last book good? Was it called "Unveiled" or something?
