Subject: HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY !!

Hi all, Happy Memorial Day!

Thanks to all who serve our country, or who have served! At 3pm today there is a call for a 'moment of silence' to honor those who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom.

I finished the re-read of Hard Eight and am now on Kurlands newest 'One Magic Moment', and its good so far. Other than that, not too much to report...just been enjoying my 'pj-cation'.

I told a friend I was going to do a 'stay-cation' for this long holiday weekend, and just stay home in my p.j.'s all weekend and do nothing.

He informed me that he was under the impression that a 'stay-cation' involved leaving your house but doing things around the local area (sightseeing or hiking or visiting places you've never been). So, I had to come up with a new term. Here were some choices:

Lazy-cation
Jammie-cation or pj-cation
working-the-remote-but-nothing-else-cation
keep-the-curtains-closed-and-don’t-answer-the-phone-cation
keep-a-book-in-my-hand-for-3-days-straight-stopping-only-to-eat-or-sleep-cation

I went with the 'pj-cation' but all those other things apply as well. Anyone think of any others?

BTW, Pamela, I enjoyed your entry 'dear reader' on the Berkley/Jove newsletter! What a wonderful way to give a quick synopsis of each of your I-TEAM books! I'm revved up more than ever! I have a strange feeling that Marc is going to be my fave and I have only read the first book so far!! But I could be wrong...and it would be so much fun to be wrong in this case! LOL
