Subject: First off, I was VERY resistant to going to E-Books, I wanted my covers & I treasured my 2700+ books! I had decided that I could no longer read hardbacks due to the weight & my hands having trouble holding them. Then a book I had been waiting years to read was published in hardcover, so I purchased an e-reader & bought it in e-format, well let me tell you that was it, I haven't read a paper book since! That was in Aug of 2008! I then set out to get all the books I thought I'd really need to read in e-book until just this last fall I donated my 2700+ books to our local SPCA which is almost totally supported by the 2 big used book sales they have annually So now I have an iPad & I use nook & ibook on it & I also own a Sony e-reader.

Now they update this device so it works much the same as a 'tablet'! I also read sci-fi! I may be opening an account at Baen books as they have several authors I enjoy and the best part is they have their own software for just about EVERY electronic reading device! Also downloading is a breeze! I wasn't even sure I would like an ereader but now I have close to 200 books in it, and the only trouble is choosing! LOL :D -- SKYE O¿O, Tuesday, April 10, 10:09:34pm
