Subject: Weekend plans?

So excited! Today, My Aunt and I are driving 85 miles to go visit my Godmother (who is also my Mom's cousin) so that we can meet a few other family members and do family tree stuff!!

I found some photo's from like the 1850's too, so its gonna be cool!!

Just finished a re-read of SEP's "Heaven, Texas" and I have to say that I love me some Bobby Tom Denton!

What is everyone else doing this weekend? What are you reading??

Robin

[> Did Mom's taxes, cleaned my house so the painters (my next door neighbor is a painting contractor) can paint while I'm at the Sleepover next week, and making Strawberry Lemon cake. It's a new recipe - no liquid in it, but 8 oz of Greek yogurt so it should be moist enough. -- AnnAnn, Sunday, April 15, 04:35:53pm

[> [> [> [> I certainly will Rosie. It turned out pretty well - I think it will be better closer to Strawberry season. I used ones that I bought in the grocery store, and they were probably ripened on the truck 0 not a ton of flavor and not very juicy. But aside from my disappointment in the berries, it turned out really well, and with the lemon flavoring, you could sub Blueberries for the strawberries too. -- AnnAnn, Monday, April 16, 06:35:59pm
