Subject: Heather you sum up my sentiments exactly. I'd also add to the tedious and repetitive - the writing is "childlike". I've had to put the book down - and occasionally tried a few more pages & put it down again. I also do NOT particularly like the characters - they really don't "do" anything other than have sex. I think it's been "successful" because of the so-called "shock value" of the material, but like you I prefer Lauren Dane (this site introduced me to her writing - which seems to flow.
