With the turn of the page we move directly from H/H kissing against a basement wall to post-sex in an upstairs bedroom and confrontation with the villain who was last seen locked up and surrounded by Breeds. Not to mention a traitor who must be revealed (for the climax to make any sense) but is never mentioned.

Or are Lora Leigh and her editor now in full meltdown?

There is obviously a time gap and it mentions weeks going by as an investigation takes place. I didn't have a problem with the Epilogue so maybe it got changed?

Who called to impersonate Ely to get Mica down into the lab?
Why?
How did Brandemore get out of his cell and away from Jonas and the others?
How did he know where Mica was?
Navarro or Mica asks if he killed Ely. Was she really in danger? How?
Where's the paragraph about Mica and Navarro's journey up to her room from the lab (not to mention the following sex?


I get your point about the investigation mentioned in the epilogue. Do you think she put that in there just to round up all the plot details that were just hanging? If so, that's truly TERRIBLE from a bestselling author.

Aarrgghh! I'm sooo frustrated!
