Subject: anyone know anything about Schill Saxophones?

got a customer who wants to buy a schill saxophone for around $300. I have never heard of this brand before and cant find info... someone has to know something!!!

I just purchased a schill soprano on ebay. Apon looking in the forums, I've found that most sax players who know what they're talking about have a personal hatred of the schill. Don't be fooled by the phrase "German Engineering," this sax is made in china. It is a step above the monique in quality, and is made very cheaply. I guess I'll see if this is true or not when mine comes in. Please advise your customer against the schill. If they are looking for an inexpensive sax, try suggesting a vintage Buescher True Tone. Saxophiles rave about them.
