I have looked at all the pictures you shared of your partridge cochin male and I don't know what you are so displeased about. He looks like a good bird to me for partridge. If you think you are going to get partridge that rival the blacks and whites in type you are in for further disappointment, chicks or adults. I have bred them for several years and they are a very challenging variety to breed. My suggestion to you is to continue with the birds you have, add to the flock judiciously, and get in it for the long haul. I think your "reputable" breeder from the East sent you some decent birds. Oh by the way...partridge frizzles??? Why? You can't even see the penciling on the feathers and why else would you want the partridge if you can't see the intricate penciling? To each his own, but it seems you are choosing the most difficult of genetic challenges. Best of luck.
