I currently have one blue splash hen which is very much kept as a pet, although I showed her recently at the Fl. State Fair to gain a blue.
I have kept show chickens on and off during my life.
What I am looking for is a nice looking good type hen to be a pet. She would live with Lily (my cochin) in the 10 x 10 x 10 aviary right outside my living room window. I am going to start taking Lily around to Nursing homes, she really couldn't be tamer.
I'm writing this to give hobbist and breeders both the idea that they may have a good hen for me. I am attacted to interesting colors like the blues, splashes, columbians, birchen, but I like a nice fat well formed and frizzles out little hen too.
