Russell,
I may be able to speed your process along a little next fall. Depending upon how many chicks I hatch that are lavender this spring, I should see a drastic difference in type (better I hope anyway), but I am not fighting the d'Uccle traits that you are. I'll post a link to some photos as soon as I get chance to put together a page. I'll show the original Lavenders that I started with and the f1 youngsters. It's good to know that someone else is seriously working on this color as we can share notes and birds along the way!
