There are always inquiries on this board from individuals looking for birds and I realize that some people are just looking for any birds and still others are looking for show quality birds. If you are interested in good quality, there is an easy way to determine who might be good people to go to. First, go to the home page of this website. Click on the Master Breeder Points section and look down the list of individuals who have shown birds in the varieties that you are looking for. The people on that list may have birds for sale. If you are looking for good birds, the people with the higher number of points have had the varieties a longer time and have been working on them for a longer period of time. There may be exceptions to the rule but for the most part this is true. Sometimes, members of CI who have gotten out of a particular variety but are still dues paying members, may no longer have the variety but they will know who does. Additionally, there is an officers and directors section on the main web page. The district director from your area may be able to help you locate birds as well. The reason I am posting this is that this website has more information available to it's users than just the forum, however, we all get used to coming to the forum but don't utilize the other resources that can be found here. One other point, try to be specific if you are looking for bantams or large fowl whenever you list a request. I hope this is useful.
