I liked this story. The author does a lovely job exploring what is meant when speaking of Seven "embracing her humanity." It's a pretty common idea in J/7, but very few authors really flesh out what that might mean. This one does, and goes even further to connect Seven's definition of humanity with what it would mean for her to love Kathryn. I also really like stories where Seven and Janeway have real equality between them, and part of this story is about how Seven creates that. Worth a read.
