And the entire block heard me scream in excited, joyous anticipation. I jumped around yelling "yes, yes, yes" until I was hyperventilating and peeing in my pants like any good enthousiastic little puppy, tongue lolling out of my mouth, running around the room in circles, repeatedly jumping up on my digital friend, licking the screen in happy eagerness.
After a long, lukewarm shower, I now feel ready to sit STILL long enough to read the chapter.

I was bouncing in my chair as this chapter unfolded... and then I got hit, like Anna, with the cliffhanger ending...

AUGH! gjg, you have got to have the next chapter soon!

Well... yes the chapter is written... but... don't you hate buts... it's only in longhand form at present. I have been writing during my absense but the modern implements I was using happened to be A4 paper and pen. Now I have to transofrm it into something.

Soon, I hope.

No buts necessary, gjg. As a person who writes longhand during the week and types in only as other work at the computer permits, I completely understand delays in transcription.

I have an update to post on one story myself, and another to type in. By the end of today perhaps (fingers crossed)

You had me rolling on the floor with your description. wonderful imagery. Hopefully, by now you've sat still long enough to see the story, and that the unfortunate wait was worth it. :-)

Oh yes, yes, yes! Hmm, deee-licious.
I am so glad that -well I probably shouldn't give anything away yet- but then... what does Kimberley do! I ask you, don't you just love that woman? I certainly do. She, you, have me on the edge of my seat. I really love your characterisation of Anna too; both such wonderful, headstrong, sensible and sensitive women.
And the story is such a page turner, written in this immensely readable and clean style: I still think you do a terrific job.

Thank you, gjg, and of course I am looking forward with great eagerness to chapter 19.

Thanks for those words of encouragement, they mean a great deal to me. I'm glad you're enjoying Kimberley and Anna, and the story. They really do get up to some things, don't they? And Kimberley is a treat.

This journey is a treat for me as well. I always looks forward to what will happen.

And what of your writing, have I missed the completion of your story?
