I have to say that I think this was the most JBesque installment of the Millennium serise so far and I was pleased with that. I missed the interaction and the playfulness of Kathryn and Seven and we saw it here very nicely.

As for Zar, I liked how Gina handled it. It was for me, very real. Zar's initial misunderstanding about Seven's status allowed him to fantasize just enough to build up his hopes a bit. Then, when he saw them together in a previous installment, it hurt...because he saw that what he had was only his own fantasy. Then, when he saw them together in an unguarded moment, his envy for what they had kind of solidified the fact that if he was ever to have something so beautiful, that it would be with someone other than Seven, and that kind of union was worth striving for. The last moment, in sickbay helped him to affirm that to himself, that he could move on.

However, I think that the immediate interest in Dr. Kahn somehow diminished his character just a bit. I think I would have liked to have seen that later and would perhaps been able to root for him a bit more. As musette said, going for Kahn now is practically a rebound.

I fully enjoyed the emasculation of the Kazon and could do with never seeing them again... however, as others have pointed out, the presence of Cullah's son is very interesting and could prove quite an interesting premise for conflict should they need to take him on. He is the son of the deposed Maj, that can't be safe for him.

But, alas, now that I'm back 'into' Millenium, we have to wait for the next installment. Phooey.
