Subject: a sad discovery

I was looking to re-read some of my favorite stories and went to Vaxen's site, only to find that Silverstone's stories seem to have vanished. Does anyone know if she's moved her site, or just closed it down. She only wrote three stories, but they are/were among the best written and wonderfully imaginative too. I guess the lesson is - download your favorites, cause eventually they'll disappear...*sigh*

*sigh of relief* I found the stories tucked away on my laptop (which lives at my S.O's), so I am not left without my Silverstone fix. BTW, her stories still read quite well. It's interesting to read stories that were written while the series was in progress and compare them to the stories written now. The more recent ones take greater license with the "universes" they create and 'canon' is no longer an issue. I wonder if we could "date" stories in a "blind" reading like a wine tasting? "Yes, this is vintage season four fiction...consider Seven's catsuit - it still has the high collar.." *g*

I almost missed this post, a sad admission for a moderator...sigh...but I deleted the history from my browser and all my visited threads have reverted to beautiful, unread blue.

What saved me was the constant tinkle of what sounded like broken glass. I realized it was the sound of hearts breaking, dozens of 'em, after reading about musette's S.O.

Don't despair, in musette's case S.O. would be...um...Security Officer... *heehee*

*oh...the OBB is in trouble*

Me? A heartbreaker? NEVER!
My security officer is terribly tolerant of my fanfic fever and only occasionly has to remind me that she's "real." *snort*
