Subject: Captain Janeway -4th on list of 5!


I don't know what prompted me to visit the Trek Today site but there is a poll concerning which Captain would you rather serve under. Captain Kate is in fourth place - Picard, Archer and Sisko are ahead of her.

Are we going to allow this?

Actually, I just wanted to post UNDER you. ;p

But back to the topic: how in the world could anyone prefer Sisko to Janeway? Picard would be tough competition in my book. Kirk's dead last, but that's no surprise, since a majority of the folks voting weren't even born when the original series aired *g* The "Enterprise" guy hasn't hit my radar screen yet - heck, I can't even remember his name and I just read it...I think my mind's with yours, andrewsfan!

Well, those Niners have always been an outrageously fanatic bunch. Unlike us Voyagers who are far more sophisticated and comfortable with our fandom. We don't need the results of some poll to validate our obsessions.

It's the racetrack in me. The wagers only cover the top three spots - win, place and show. I can't settle for less than third. gettyup...
