no, it really is that there don't seem to be many new writers. At some point RL will take over and the reliables will be called away. I just want to encourage some others to try their hand at it.

I hear what you're saying and I couldn't agree more.

Your post has encouraged me to do something I've been promising myself I would do for literally years now...

I am going to write my first J7 fanfic come hell or high water.

I certainly make no promises that it will be half as good as the other J7 writers out there, but I am going to try and carry the torch as best I can.

My first story will be ready for a beta read in two weeks.

Thanks for lighting the fire under my rump.
