Subject: Most common J/7 fanfiction first line(scene)?

My vote goes for:

A description of:

Janeway standing in front of the window in her quarters... gazing out at the passing/streaming/distorted/ star field.

Anything else?

Not that I'm in a cynical mood (channeling B'Elanna) but I thought it would be fun to list most common fanfic occurances... at the moment I can't think of any other cliché - so, anything come to mind?

Captain Kathryn Janeway of the Federation Starship Voyager cleared her throat and stared hard at Seven of Nine, Voyager's resident ex-drone. "Katie," she thought to herself, "this isn't going to be as easy as you thought..."

Sleep was a slippery beast that night, Janeway tossed and turned, tangling the sheets in her much too empty bed...

Scene: similar to Julie's, Janeway rolling out of bed either incapable of sleeping or having not had enough sleep.

Seven, waking up after regeneration, musing about Captain Janeway whom she had been pleasantly dreaming about, only to find the Captain herself standing there, watching her.

Now what about all the most often used excuses made by Janeway about why she and a certain ex-borg can't have a romantic relationship?

- rates as crew fraternization
- Seven is not yet fit for romantic involvement
- age difference
- Seven doesn't return feelings
OR
- Seven's feelings in return are mere adolescent infatuation
- Captain is married to the ship
- doesn't want to be taking advantage of Seven
- afraid command will interfere with romantic reationship (those damn away missions)
- Captain has to do guilt trips because she stranded crew in Delta Quadrant
- Captain should be no happier than crew
- what will the crew say anyway?
- it's against the protocol

(coming to think of how easy this was to sum up... God, I msut have read a lot of J/7... *G*)
