i remembered last night.

gosh...such a good eppy. i forgot there was a time when angel had funny moments.

cordy was so cordy.

i had completely forgotten about doyle.

blondes blondes everywhere blondes. i never noticed before.

i love when cordy realizes russell is a vampire. i loved the scenes of her down and out. loved angel pretending he was drunk. loved him in his hawaiian shirt and hat. loved it back then when he was all solo and living in that dark dank hole in the wall.

and i loved when it was all just a case by case thingy.

i forgot W&H was presented so early in the series. and yeah...him pushing russell out the window is an all time classic.

I remember being absolutely delighted when Cordy showed up in the first episode - I wasn't spoiled and hadn't known she'd migrated over to Angel.

Was it Salty's TV or mine or were all of the Season One episodes really (literally) that dark? I mean, it was atmospheric and all, but I remember having trouble seeing certain scenes.

Confession: I didn't actually watch it last night - will try to remedy this tonight.
