Subject: BTVS Rewatch Doublemeat Palace

Buffy's social worker tells her she has to get a job to show she can bring in regular money for Dawn. She ends up working at a fast food place called Doublemeat Palace. She thinks they've got a nasty secret when she finds a finger in the meat grinder, but the restaurant's only secret is that the burgers are veggie with meat flavoring. The finger is because an old lady demon is offing patrons because she likes the taste.

I think there's another run in with Spike in here too, I recall him saying Buffy smelled like grease.

Ham fisted. Just bad.

The fact Buffy held a job, worked double shifts, kept up slaying is no small wonder she broke down in exhaustion. Also provides no "continuity" in regressing her to the degree chosen in "sudden surprise" of C.O.D.
