Also Inspector Lewis on PBS. Wonderful!

ATOM, on the Science channel - they are covering exactly the same material Dewey is covering in class; we're trying to get the video to show the kids.

Good Eats Tenth Anniversary special was awful. Just awful. I am looking forward to the new season of Good Eats, though. It seems I only like Alton when he's doing Good Eats; I don't care to watch him in the other thirty or forty Food Network shows he seems to be on.

Mostly, though, I was outside planting allium bulbs! Next spring is going to be very colorful around here.

but then I watch every science show, over and over. Also watched an excellent 4.4 million year old humanoid discovery which blows away the views of the last 100 years.

Fringe
Ghost Hunters
Destination Truth
New Stargate show
Football, of course!
probably some other stuff I'm forgetting

There was Carl Sagan, in all his glory. It was wonderful to see (and hear) him again. Interestingly, they somehow managed to edit out poor used-to-be-planet Pluto so seamlessly that you could watch it today and never know it was filmed twenty years ago.

but I never really liked him.

dear lord...i had to sleep with the lights on for two weeks after the first time i saw The Sixth Sense...i don't even want to think about it. that being said, i watched the newer version of Amityville Horror this weekend (but really only because Ryan Reynolds was in it --- i'm a sucker like that).

what did i watch? Medium, last season's finale/this season's premiere of The Mentalist, Hell's Kitchen, enough of the UGA/TN game to know i didn't want to keep watching...the Bulldogs are killing me and taking the joy right out of SEC football.

Arlo is obsessed with the weather channel right now. he asks if we can check the weather, then afterward he wants me to leave it on so he can dance to the fabulous weather channel music...

Saw Zombieland yesterday. It's not for everyone but if you have a sick sense of humor and a strong stomach you'll love it. Zombie kill of the week was my favorite bit.

On the tv front, I am finding this season less than memorable. Watched House. Didn't really care for the way it worked out and it's probably going to be a plot point for the rest of the season. Bleah.

I did enjoy Bones. Not normally a fan of kids but David
just works so well with the boy who plays his son and the plot with him wanting Booth to have a girlfriend was really cute in the way all the other characters responded to it (and only Bones cutting straight to the point at the end.) The anthropology vs psychology debate was funny too.
The murderers were obvious as was the reason but they were just there for the characters to interact around anyway.

I don't remember if I watched CSI this week or not. They are starting to blur together which usually is a sign a show is losing steam.

I spent a lot of my free time this week playing Fallout 3.
I added a new expansion but I am still replaying a lot of the older areas since I'm not sure what level character the expansion areas are intended for. Be pretty dumb to go there and get blown up in 1 second cause you are supposed to be at uber level.

And of course I watched a few football games both college and pro. Sadly the pro games were all routs and only FF made them at all interesting. (I was matched against my roommate this week. I won because A) Dallas went into OT resulting in extra points from Tony Romo and B) Dallas Clark go almost as many points as Reggie Wayne and Vinatieri (thanks to pts per reception) and C) Michael Turner had a big day.

TV: Dollhouse and Glee were great. I also watched Fox's animation block last night, including that new Cleveland Show spinoff of Family Guy, which was alright but not something I'll go out of my way to watch in the future.

Movies: I saw "Lawrence of Arabia" for the first time. Why I never got around to seeing this before is beyond me. It's a great movie.

House, Castle, NCIS, NCIS LA, Bones (charming), Fringe, (yides), Dollhouse (double yikes!), The Mentalist, Medium, Ghost Whisperer, Survivor (*yawn*), CSI, and the ever classy Numb3ers along with all the Angel reruns. You guys do understand that I don't watch much television in the evenings. Usually, I'm at the computer. Most of my t.v. viewing is in the afternoons. Not much History Channel or Science. It was a week of rain and naps. I think I have dropsy! Can't seem to wake up even when I'm sitting upright in my chair. Hugs

Saw Zombieland.

Watched Heroes, Gossip Girl, Supernatural, Smallville, Dollhouse. Also watching the Jay Leno show most days. Just caught Bill Cosby on there tonight.
