1. Did you see the first episode of "Angel?"

---Not when it aired.

2. How long had "Angel" been on when you started watching?

---I didn't really start watching regularly until the last season. I caught up with the DVDs and TNT reruns.

3. Were you a "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" fan who followed Angel to Los Angeles?

---I migrated when "Buffy" ended.

4. If not a "Buffy" watcher, how did you hook up with "Angel?"

---Well, I do have vague memories of catching bits of Angel before I latched onto Buffy; I was a bit of a late convert to that show as well. Specifically I remember catching the scene from season two where Darla tries to convince Angel to turn her back into a vampire.

5. Were you one of the fans who stopped watching "Buffy" when "Angel" started?

---People did that? But... why?

6. What do you believe were the major differences between "Angel" and "Buffy?"

---Angel had a darker tone, way more character deaths and "downer" episodes. Buffy had clearer metaphors.

7. Do you have someone who is close to you that couldn't stand "Angel?" Were they ever converted?

---My friend who converted me to Buffy never totally got into Angel. I managed to get him watching season five, and he was digging the whole Illyria arc as much as I was, but he wasn't nearly as gutted as I was about the cancellation.

8. What was your favorite "Angel" storyline?

---Bringing back Darla as a human was awesome. Also, I was down with evil!Cordy until she started wearing that hideous black dress (you know the one I'm talking about). Pretty much anytime Faith was on the show was great. And I loved where they were going with Illyria.

9. What was your least favorite "Angel" storyline?

---Pylea. So cheesy.

10. Who, other than Angel, was your favorite fang gang character?

---Cordy, before "Birthday."

11. Who was your favorite satellite character?

---Lilah, for sure. I'm still bitter they didn't manage to get her onboard for season five, as that would have been awesome.

12. What question would you like to ask ASSB?

---Um... what's up?

1. Did you see the first episode of "Angel?" Yes, but on tape later on, then I started watching the rest of the season live.

2. How long had "Angel" been on when you started watching? Halfway through season one is when I started watching it live, the first half was taped for me by someone else.

6. What do you believe were the major differences between "Angel" and "Buffy?" Angel was darker and more adult than Buffy was. I really adored the trio of Angel, Cordy, and Wes, and wanted them to be a new Troika (like Kirk, Spock, McCoy). Sadly, that didn't work out at all.

7. Do you have someone who is close to you that couldn't stand "Angel?" Were they ever converted? Not really.

8. What was your favorite "Angel" storyline? Wesley's arc, but not his finish, which pretty much destroyed the show for me. Other than that, Darla's return and Angel getting his beige on.

9. What was your least favorite "Angel" storyline? Connor sex with Cordy. *sigh*

It's more like - Who, other than Wesley, was your favorite fang gang character? I'd take a Wesley Show, in whatever format, in a heartbeat. It kills me that Alexis Denisof is finally back on tv and Fox is likely to yank Dollhouse. *cries* I just got him back on my tv, lol.

11. Who was your favorite satellite character? Lilah! I feel bad that the strongest and most adult female in the Jossverse was also evil. Not sure what that says about girl power. OTOH, she enjoyed working for team evil and accepted her fate when she wound up in W&H Hell.

12. What question would you like to ask ASSB? What's your favorite destructive weather pattern? Mine is - tsunamis!
