Subject: One from Column A - MNA

Gonna try a little variety this time. Let me know if you like it or not:



The thing I like about Being Human is the supernatural stuff is seondary to the characters. The whole Reaper thing in the last ep was pretty cool too though.



"It's ok to love them both" is my favorite line from the series. I love all the Machiavellian plots but I really hope Katherine comes back some time.



Ok, now I know why this show is so hot. It's a Canadian import. A lot of good genre shows have come from Canada.
Remember Forever Knight?



Sooner or later one of these shows is going to have a menage a trois though. After all they had one on Gossip Girl

Ah, Ah, Ah--the shortened sound of (stuttering) a triple A column of "Aaaaeeeee! Perfectly pretty and hitting on all thrusters.

AGreed on Canada's ability to do the strong woman, the geat romance and the hero curse e.g. their "Nikita." Awesome in the truly sociopathic to the hope of humanity for light and they did it in THE SHOW of the courage to dare of even one person in the transformation of persons and institutions. lOVED it.

AND, my list i keep trying to cut just gets longer. I have to face adding "Being Human" deux, just on this a-some MNA ALONE (although I remain a little sniffly over ghost girl--WISH SHE'D GET A MEET UP IN THIS CAST to better end her story; hope she gets "the body" for all that psychological effort that makes for a ghost/victim this time. If this girl is only an angel guide for others, I will dump the repeat of the third cast. One of my gripes with Dr. Who emotionally on several people/worlds. Even some of the ad guys actually deserve to live for entertainment value alone. ha!

Canadian stuff keeps track of its own "story" structure to be satisfied, no matter what strangness goes on in episodes. NOt always perfect, not always "happy, but still satifying tv. At least I know who/why I am cheering the great horrible meets the great hope, unlike my understanding or complete dumb, lack of it for VD.

Also LOVES the sexy in that necklace, reprised in Buffy's fantasy of start of season 8. But I am delighted that Joss still gets the story right in who she is SUPPOSED to want, have, take and she hasn't EVER been a liar about it! All that is left is death to "git 'er cookies done." Or the Nikita ending--which is really for Buffy, she never actually grows up, like Peter Pan!

Joss is in town for SXSW to preview his latest horror movie. During an interview for this rendering, he was praised for Buffy, Firefly, etc., even Dollhouse. Not. one. word. about. Angel. I am thoroughly disgusted. Thoroughly!

Joss has so many good things to his credit that listing them all would probably take longer than the time they had allotted. Generally writers don't get credited for their spin offs even if they are as good or better than the original. It's unlikely this was meant as a slight to Angel or its actors.
