Subject: For the birds - MNA

My bowling is starting to come back. Bowled 174-172-174. The only single pin spares I missed were a couple of ten pins. Saw the new Pirate move Sunday. It wasn't too bad and the mermaids were fun.

So why birds today? Well we have red wing blackbirds and
the Sandhill cranes are still hanging around being very noisy. Gotta get inspirate somewhere.



Do NOT see David Boreanaz Crow movie but he does look good in black.



I wonder if plain blackbirds ever get bored and mate with redwings?



Now what kind of bird would Alyson be? Hmm.



That's a European Robin. It's cute. We'll go with it. What?



I'll bet this image was used without permission for some ad or other. Happens a lot in Asia from what I understand.



Female bower birds don't seem worth all the effor if you ask me.



But then I'm not a male bower bird.



By the way Sandhill Cranes are LOUD especially when they echo off buildings.

The reason you didn't see DB's crow movie is because once filming was finished and it was released, the owners recalled it and burned the master. Worst movie I have. ever. seen. And you all know I'm very forgiving of anything DB does. But, Lord help the little people, it was bad, bad, bad.

I'm terrified of birds, but love to see photos. Thank you, dear Lewis H, for the marvelous photos. Wonderful viewing of both birds and actors.

Good on you for bowling. Great exercise and very satisfying when one bowls well. Hugs

LOVE Alyson's doppelganger; it's like a blue bird of sweet delight and happiness, all right.

As I may have said, I had no idea the sandhills had a fly way to/from Florida. I should have thought of it re the occassional blue heron or egret seen with them. Now THAT makes me wonder about breeding pairs, re endangered species.

DB actually looks pretty creepy in that picture--dead inside, but still got a plan in mind; and it does have a different "character" look from Angelus or Angel. I actually have this movie, but never watched more than the start and jumped to the end. I guess the happily ever after ending probably would have killed the franchise. AND IT DID! ha!

LORDY! The Bower Bird. That is work, but the thieving sure has to help in the game of musical chairs or bower building. Catbirds are part of this kind of family of birds and are monogamous.

I am VERY sorry to hear about your job. I hope you have "somewhere to go" that fits YOU--you actually seem to understand TOO well the "model" of how things work. I guess that is why I had to make my own work. Too immature to handle it all and I feel "working for a living" since the 80's is just too darn risky. I couldn't live with that level of anxiety all the time. No wonder your stomach rages in the durned if you do or don't--maybe it is becoming "genetic code" for Americans and their children?

Thanks for making OUR days fun, bright, interesting and really a great surprise.
