I thought Hart Hanson showed a real lack of respect for his characters, so I may cut Bones out next season. I only started watching it for real when I got my DVR, but I may not bother next season, since I viewed it as light tv, and my favorite part was the lab techs, so I feel that was ruined.

I mean, Zac as the show's new Hannibal Lecter advisor? When he was there to fill out a science expert role? I think it's because they wanted to work Sweets in, and he and Zac are of similar height and hair color. I know, shallow-reasoning, but that's how I'm looking at what happened to Zac, he got pushed out for Sweets.

so if thst is the reason, then I am even less happy. I think they have been writing more for Sweets because it gives them the opportunity to play on the chemistry / UST between the 2 leads. He is just a means to an end. Zac was a fully rounded, endearing character and I will miss him.

Does anyone know whether the actor wanted to leave or was he axed?
