Angel, Angel and more Angel. Castle, Ghost Whisperer, the forgotten, Medium, Numb3rs, some old movies on TCM and, did I say, Angel? There were a lot of reruns on that I started and stopped watching. Most programs aren't that good the first time. Can't stand another watch. Hugs

Dexter. Bored to Death. Castle. It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. Eastwick. Vampire Diaries. Supernatural. Ghost Whisperer/Medium Halloween episodes (first time I've watched their new seasons, though they're on my DVR - Melinda's kid sure grew up fast - they must have jumped 5-6 years or something). SG-U, Sanctuary. Robin Hood. Bunch of horror movies, the old V:miniseries, and a History of Halloween over the weekend.

DVRing the new V tonight!

The original version. I've been trying to see that whole movie from beginning to end for a long time - I kept catching just parts of it. Now that I have the DVR in the kitchen, I can start and stop it - it took almost three hours for me to get through it while I also was baking cookies and doing laundry, etc., but I finally saw it all!

It was scary good. Good scary.

I mean, the noises and the writing on the wall could have been done by anybody, but that door . . . Brrr!

Note to self: Must read the original Shirley Jackson novel. Maybe they have it here in the school library. From the reviews I've seen, it's really very good - well, of course, it's Shirley Jackson!

Mrs. Dudley in the movie was my favorite character - what a hoot, with her set scary speech! It was kind of nice of Eleanor to let her repeat it to Theo, even though she'd been interrupted. Loved her smile!

Guess I'll drop the other eight books I'm trying to read all at the same time, and spend a cozy evening with Shirley Jackson instead.

I think I'll keep the lights on. . .
