Awww, Lewis H, I'm sorry. It's always sad to give up something one once enjoyed a great deal. And I've really enjoyed your synopses of the Angel comic arcs. I'll miss them. However, in this day and age, $40.00 is a lot of money to spend and not enjoy yourself. Hugs

The only Buffy or Angel comics that I've picked up recently were Buffy #29 (the Sgt Rock cover) and the Angel: Blood and Trenches arc by John Byrne...not because I'm a fan of John Byrne, but because my lcs owner happened to have the complete arc in his back issues, and he gives us a nice discount.

We had cut way back on our single issues purchases, even before the recent price increases. With the economy the way it is, the big publishers can't continue to expect to grow a fan base when they're effectively pricing the target audience out of the market.
