Writing a novel for NaNoWriMo (goal is 50,000 words in one month).

Feeling pretty down that my romance novel got rejected by a publisher again.

put words to paper and peddle the book. There are a number of very good writers on this board who, as far as I know, have never tried to get published. You keep plugging away, Sweetie. Stephen King was rejected numerous times before Carrie. Hugs

Writing fanfic got me into it. I know I've come a long way already just by completing stories, since I couldn't put together a piece of fiction up to my senior year of high school to save my life.

I'm considering a big re-write on my novel, so if I do, publishing is still a long way off, just from the hours it'll take. I'm grateful to have a writers' forum for support and info.
