YES! YES! Here are a couple of sites to "raid" if you are too busy to come up with such a clever context as were these animals. I read the scripts a bit back in the day, but your quiz was even more fun!

and sporcle is TIMED! But a good source.http://www.sporcle.com/games/tags/buffy

I gotta admit I do remember these because they are "double" in meaning, e.g. "dog me" is "give me a hot dog," but also "trouble will hang off my heels" and has to do with Angel born under Sirius star, as well as the Irish hero myths. Whistler's tale revived in season 8 and will in season 9 Angel and Faith in the comics, BTW.

These provide foreshadowing as well as sustain myth. Willow's frog fear (frogs become the prince--she will "become" a lesbian; and toads were considered "evil v the more "transformational" (and wet) frogs." The problem with toads is they hide among the jewels (heh) aka "liars". Oz actually is "the turtle." (Why he had the van).

Cow me I remember because of Buffy as the cow goddess Hathor (Beer Bad and we all saw her literally wearing a cow on her head) and every reference of the moon goddess, despite the name Summers like "sun." And Xander I actually remembered with "rain of toads" so Oz saying "toad me" was the foreshadowing re Willow.

HINTS for the "future" quiz, to jog a memory, I hope:

Spike is Ram/ indiscriminate, stubborn, counted upon (ha!) and sacrificed; and Angel is Boar--(bor-ing? ha!) Remember him holding Mr. Gordo and eating pig blood because they are "like people" in liking cleanliness, and pigs are known for intelligence but also the "guys" who betray as in the book Animal Farm?: these two clash in Chinese astrology. Not a marriage made in heaven. However, both represent the Goddess in the curved horn/teeth of the moon).

Be well!
