Subject: DOUBLE TAKE!

OK, I just had to share this... I've been working quite a few hours at my Kmart job in addition to my full-time job... Friday and Saturday I did 5-hour shifts, off Sunday and then last night and tonight 4-hour shifts... so I'm REALLY tired... tonight a guy came to my register looking for cigarettes (which we don't sell anymore) and I look up and I swear to God it was Leif with blue eyes... this guy looked SO much like him that I was stumbling all over my words! Same little goatee, a backwards baseball cap, same intensity in the eyes, even though they were blue.. wow! He came back to buy something, I can't even remember what, and I'm like... do I know you? You look REALLY familiar (lol) and he's like, Aw, it's just the goatee and the backwards hat. Then I hand him his change and receipt, and he looks at my name tag and he's like, Thanks, and calls me by name... I was so rattled!!

Anyway, just had to share... Guess our boy is still in my heart :-)

TL, Can you imagine if it was really him?? I would've done the same thing probably, lol. Maybe different colored contact lenses so he could shop in peace? Wishful thinking! I think he will always be in all of our hearts and I'm proud to be one of his fans. I remember when I met him almost 2 yrs ago out here at the Silverton and he held my hand as he walked off the stage with me..oh my God..I felt like I was 16 thinking "I will never wash this hand again" lol. I can barely remember what I said to him because I was so nervous and tried to be cool and collected but I was so happy to have met him I was going ga-ga in my mind. I felt so lucky,he was awesome. Thanks for being so nice Leif, I'll always remember that.
