Subject: Leif's Old Music
In reply to: Tina Lyn 's message, "My Movie of You was Leif's last album for Scotti Brothers, and as he says on his Behind the Music episode, they gave him the music to sing and he sang it. He tried breaking out with his fourth LP, Can't Explain, but they didn't like what he was doing and made him make one last syrupy/mushy/teen idol album. He didn't like doing it at all, and the songs are more like his first album than any of the others -- romantic ballads that allowed him no freedom to sing the music he truly loved. He was simply fulfilling his contract with Scotti Bros. and you can tell on the album that he really didn't want to be singing that kind of music. I have it and can make a cassette of it if you'd like -- my personal favorite of his first five albums was the third, Same Goes for You." on Tue, Jul 25 2006, 7:52:22

I am looking to find out how I can order Leif's older music, no matter CD's or cassette. I used to have 8-tracks, but no longer am able to play them. Our local radio station played "I was made for dancin'" tonight, and brought back a flood of memories of all the nights I spent in my bedroom listening to Leif. I see amazon.com has 1 CD, but off course being the die-hard that I am , I want all of the good stuff, not just one CD. Any help would be appreciated!!

Kim
