I have the following:

--Ornamental Quail--

Chinese Painted
Commonly known as Button Quail. Being non-perching ground birds they add great interest to a mixed aviary. These are tiny! We have a wide color assortment of true breeding pairs.

--Japanese Coturnix Quail--

Pharaoh
Common brown variety, excellent meat and are prolific egg layers. These are typically docile, making nice tame birds for the beginner.

Tibetan
A darkly plumed egg or meat bird often used for training dogs, as it’s spirited and will give the dog a good work out. I’ve never tried it, but it must be true since they are the only ones that jump at me whenever I open the bin to get eggs.

English
A white bird that often has a black spot on its head. Good for meat and eggs. Male and female are identical, although the female grows to a larger size, which is particularly noticeable once breeding starts. We have almost entirely bred away the black spot from our stock!!

Tuxedo
This is a black or brown backed bird with white chest, and striking face markings.

Italian
A beautiful bird with black and tan markings over cream base, very pretty. These are similar in appearance to the Mexican Speckled, which we also have and will offer in the future as availability allows. These are my favorites for their color.

--Specialty Coturnix Quail--

Golden Range
These are a darker bird than the regular brown pharaoh, with some very light pin stripe. They lay large eggs, double yolks are not uncommon.

Texas White
This is a large breed developed especially for eating. The taste has been compared to that of Bobwhite meat when cooked. It has a more juicy and flavorful texture over other quail. It’s currently the only white skinned all white meat quail and we expect it to be extremely popular.

Prices range from .40 to .70 cents an egg depending on breed or I can do hatchery assortments for $15.00 + shipping.
