Date Posted: 05:19:05 06/02/10 Wed A volunteer motorcycle training group has closed its doors for the last time due to financial difficulties. The Leek centre of the Potteries and District Motorcycle Training Group had operated for nearly 40 years. Founder Glenys Robinson – made an MBE in 2000 for her services to road safety – said “Staffordshire County Council is already putting a lot of money into motorcycle training but it seems to be going to commercial bodies rather than voluntary ones and there is no reason as to why.” [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
