The biker? None other than local resident… and Hollywood star George Clooney. The actor makes regular visits to the Sacred Heart rest home, giving the residents DVDs of classic movies and his own films. He has always requested staff at the home keep his visits private. However, after being refused permission to provide gifts by the over-zealous staff member, he had to break anonymity. His publicist Stan Rosenfeld said "George does this sort of thing but it's not for public recognition. I wouldn't want to say anything else."
